Do you have any organic vegetables? This is a regular question from our guests.
In response to the demand from guests the management of Aiyapura decided to build an organic garden in the grounds of the resort, growing fruit, vegetables and Thai herbs for our restaurants.
The organic garden grows morning glory, bok choy, chinese broccoli, bean sprouts, lemongrass, citronella, sweet basil, common basil, bird pepper, wild pepper, and galingale.

The resort grows these vegetables without chemicals by feeding them with natural nutrients and bio extract. The bio extract comes from food scraps from the kitchen. These are first crushed, then mixed with molasses to the ratio of 1 part molasses to 3 parts food scraps. The mix is fermented for 30 days. Pests are kept away by planting herbs near to the plants.

As for fruit, Aiyapura grows bananas, pineapple and dragon fruit. These are served fresh to our guests everyday. So guests can be assured of the quality of fruit and vegetables at Aiyapura. They are always fresh, clean and free of chemicals. Aiyapura courteously invites all our guests to try our organic fruit and vegetables, and to visit our organic garden to see how they are grown.
