Aiyapura Resort & Spa will be offers a new Wellness Programme to compliment the Spa, Fitness Centre and other activities.

We offer Basic Yoga and Meditation. All programmes are suitable for beginners or can be tailor made for those with an existing practice. Courses will be offered on a daily, or weekly basis. We will also offer tailor made individual sessions.

The programme is based on a holistic approach to health that incorporates Mind, Body and Spirit. We will combine ancient therapies of the East with the latest Western techniques to ensure the highest international standards.

Yoga
Yoga is an ancient discipline of mind, body and spiritual practice that results in better physical condition and relaxation. Yoga poses (Asanas) are taught and proper alignment developed in order to get the benefits of a Yoga practice over time. Learning techniques of breathing and body awareness is the key to Yoga and Meditation, and forms a basis for developing mindfulness in your everyday life.

Meditation
Meditation is a mental discipline to enable the meditator to go beyond the ‘thinking’ mind to a deeper state of relaxation and awareness. It usually involves bringing attention to a single focus, noticing when the mind wanders and coming back to the focus. The focus may be the breath, a mantra, an object …traditions differ. It can lead to greater mindfulness or a more relaxed and peaceful frame of mind.
